Week 9 · Thursday lineup watch
The Parker Washington Decision Comes Early
One catch last Sunday. Seven receivers to weigh before Thursday lock.
By Dub · November 3, 2026

Parker Washington caught one pass for 16 yards in Jacksonville’s 42–7 win over Indianapolis. Now his managers have to decide before Thursday’s 8:15 PM ET kickoff at Baltimore. If you have Chris Olave, I’d wait. If you’re choosing between Washington and DJ Moore, I’d start Parker. Tetairoa McMillan and DeVonta Smith are the decisions where your backup plan matters most.
Washington has 27 catches, 432 yards and four touchdowns this season. He’s rostered in 95.9% of ESPN leagues in our snapshot. One quiet game is a reason to check the matchup, and I’d still hold him. Jacksonville receiving splits · ESPN roster snapshot

When waiting is worth it
Olave’s 3.1-point edge is enough for me to wait. McMillan is only 0.4 ahead of Parker. If McMillan is your only viable Sunday option and his availability is uncertain, Parker is a reasonable Thursday start. With a credible Sunday backup, I’d wait for McMillan.
Parker is 0.4 ahead of Smith. I’d lean Parker if both are available and I’m picking strictly on points. If waiting for Smith gives me more ways to handle a late scratch, that small gap wouldn’t settle the decision.
Make Thursday’s move in the WR slot
If you start Parker, use a WR slot when you can. Leave FLEX open so you can still turn to a running back, receiver or tight end on Sunday. If you sit him, hold him. You’ll get another decision next week.
