Week 9 · Baltimore QB watch
Brissett to Baltimore? Thursday Still Belongs to Fagnano
One quarterback for Thursday. A possible veteran bridge after that. Zay Flowers is the reason fantasy managers should care about both.

Baltimore is reportedly finalizing a trade for Jacoby Brissett after injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley. The Ravens say the deal is expected to wait until the weekend, leaving Joe Fagnano in line to start Thursday against Jacksonville. Brissett could debut the following Monday against the Chargers if the deal closes and Baltimore gives him the job. Ravens trade report

Keep the Fagnano matchup calls
Our conservative Flowers estimate for Thursday stays at 14.9 PPR points. That’s the editorial estimate from our Thursday preview. The reported trade alone gives us no reason to move the Thursday calls for Flowers, Mark Andrews or Derrick Henry.
Rest of season · Zay Flowers
One Thursday won’t settle the Flowers question
Before he went without a catch at Buffalo, Flowers caught at least five passes in each of his four previous games. He had eight catches in three of those four. That’s why I’d hold him even if Thursday is rough. If he has a big night, I’d look at how often Fagnano found him on ordinary drives as well as what happened on the highlight plays. Ravens game log
If Brissett takes over, watch where his first reads go on third down and whether Flowers keeps getting throws he can turn upfield. Those are better clues for weekly PPR value than the final score of Fagnano’s debut. I’d keep Flowers in my rest-of-season plans and wait for evidence before raising his projection.
What to do with the quarterbacks
Superflex: Brissett is a bench stash if you have room and need another possible starter. Wait for a confirmed move and assignment before setting a lineup around him. Arizona: Gardner Minshew already has the Week 9 job, with Carson Beck named the backup. Cardinals starter announcement · Minshew FAAB guide
