QB · FULL PPRDEEPER CLOSE-CALL PICK

Let the touchdown streak break the tie.

OUR CALLAaron RodgersQB · PITat NO · Sun 9:30 AM ET18.4FF projected FP
THE ALTERNATIVEMatthew StaffordQB · LARat LV · Sun 4:25 PM ET18.5FF projected FP

Four straight games with multiple passing touchdowns. Eleven scores against four interceptions over that stretch. Rodgers has supplied a more productive recent fantasy stretch than this almost-level projection comparison suggests.

Stafford is a credible alternative: four of his first six outings also included multiple touchdown passes, and Las Vegas adds a modest matchup lift. The raw FF forecasts barely separate them, so our deeper research call goes to Rodgers, whose recent scoring average is 20.0 FP against Stafford’s 18.0. This is an experimental close-call pick, not a claim that the margin is safe.

Should I start Aaron Rodgers or Matthew Stafford this week?

OUR CALLKyler MurrayQB · MINvs IND · Sun 1:00 PM ET17.0FF projected FP
THE ALTERNATIVEDak PrescottQB · DALat PHI · Mon 8:15 PM ET16.5FF projected FP

Murray’s previous outing included 10 rushes for 51 yards alongside 229 passing yards. That ground production gives him a way to salvage a fantasy day when the passing touchdowns do not pile up.

Prescott brings Monday-night flexibility, but his last four starts have produced four passing touchdowns and four interceptions. Murray’s 17.0-to-16.5 forecast advantage is small; the rushing contribution is the football reason to prefer him. Both are listed active in the checked feed.

Should I start Kyler Murray or Dak Prescott this week?

The catches keep Jeanty in front.

OUR CALLAshton JeantyRB · LVvs LAR · Sun 4:25 PM ET16.9FF projected FP
THE ALTERNATIVEBucky IrvingRB · TBat CAR · Sun 1:00 PM ET16.4FF projected FP

Jeanty managed only 22 rushing yards last game, but four catches on six targets helped keep the afternoon from depending entirely on his carries. In full PPR, those receptions count before receiving yardage is added.

Irving makes this close. He returned to full practice Friday after an illness and carries no game designation for Carolina. That matchup adds 5% to his FF forecast, bringing him within roughly half a point of Jeanty. We still favor Jeanty, 16.9 to 16.4; Irving is an alternative you can start without treating the choice as a huge downgrade.

Should I start Ashton Jeanty or Bucky Irving this week?

Volume alone does not erase the matchup.

OUR CALLJ.K. DobbinsRB · DENat ARI · Sun 4:05 PM ET11.9FF projected FP
THE ALTERNATIVETony PollardRB · TENvs CLE · Sun 1:00 PM ET11.5FF projected FP

Pollard commanded 19 carries in his previous game, so this is not a warning that he has lost his job. The problem is what those opportunities have produced: one touchdown through six games and a recent fantasy average of 8.6 FP.

Dobbins is averaging 12.1 FP recently and has scored a rushing touchdown in consecutive appearances. Cleveland also produces an 8.75% downward matchup adjustment for Pollard, while Dobbins avoids that penalty against Arizona. Our deeper close-call analysis stays with Dobbins; the base FF gap is only 11.9 to 11.5.

Should I start J.K. Dobbins or Tony Pollard this week?

Make this a health decision first.

OUR CALLJa'Marr ChaseWR · CINat BAL · Sun 1:00 PM ET20.0FF projected FP
STATUS WATCHPuka NacuaWR · LARat LV · Sun 4:25 PM ETStatus watchQuestionable · calf

Nacua is questionable after a calf injury interrupted Thursday’s practice. The latest report calls for a pregame workout before the Rams decide whether he can play. Chase is listed active and returns from Cincinnati’s bye after a six-catch, 10-target performance in his previous outing.

Start Chase in this comparison. Do not read Nacua’s displayed forecast as a clean estimate of his healthy ability: ESPN currently supplies zero while another feed remains above 22 points. That disagreement depresses the blend. Nacua’s status and forecasts need another check before the Rams’ later kickoff.

Should I start Ja'Marr Chase or Puka Nacua this week?

OUR CALLJalen CokerWR · CARvs TB · Sun 1:00 PM ET16.0FF projected FP
THE ALTERNATIVEJameson WilliamsWR · DETvs GB · Sun 4:25 PM ET12.7FF projected FP

Coker returned from his quadriceps-related absence with six catches on 13 targets for 97 yards. He has reached six receptions in three of his first four appearances. That gives this recommendation a reception-based foundation.

Williams remains the dangerous alternative: his previous game produced two touchdowns on just two catches. His recent scoring average is actually higher than Coker’s, so form alone does not settle this. For Week 7, the full FF forecast still favors Coker, 16.0 to 12.7, against Tampa Bay.

Should I start Jalen Coker or Jameson Williams this week?
TE · FULL PPRWEEK 7

Thirty-six targets are hard to ignore.

OUR CALLIsaiah LikelyTE · NYGat HOU · Sun 1:00 PM ET16.1FF projected FP
THE ALTERNATIVETucker KraftTE · GBat DET · Sun 4:25 PM ET13.5FF projected FP

Likely has drawn double-digit targets in three straight games, turning 36 opportunities into 24 catches, 259 yards and three touchdowns. That workload supports a recent scoring average of 23.3 FP and keeps him ahead in this comparison.

Kraft is no throwaway option. He drew eight targets last game, and Detroit gives him the maximum 10% defensive-matchup boost in the current FF calculation. Even with that help, Likely leads 16.1 to 13.5. Both tight ends are listed active in the checked feed.

Should I start Isaiah Likely or Tucker Kraft this week?

Boswell gets the matchup tiebreak.

OUR CALLChris BoswellK · PITat NO · Sun 9:30 AM ET9.9FF projected FP
THE ALTERNATIVESpencer ShraderK · INDat MIN · Sun 1:00 PM ET9.9FF projected FP

The forecasts both round to 9.9, but that should begin the decision rather than end it. Minnesota has been a difficult matchup for kicker fantasy production, giving Shrader a 6.25% downward adjustment. Boswell does not receive that penalty against New Orleans.

Shrader has the stronger recent scoring average and is 18-for-18 on field goals through six games. Boswell is 13-for-17, but attempted five in his previous game. Our experimental deeper research call picks Boswell; Shrader’s accuracy is a real counterargument. Open Make the call to inspect the current decision and supporting details.

Should I start Chris Boswell or Spencer Shrader this week?

Popularity uses FF’s last-seven-days page-view report checked October 24 at about 4:07 PM Eastern. Known testing browsers are excluded. Week 7 views across scoring formats and old/new player links are combined for the same pair, while all article recommendations use PPR. Projections and availability were refreshed October 24 before publication. FantasyPros did not supply forecasts for these comparisons. Current status and recent game notes were checked against ESPN’s injury/player feed; individual notes are dated October 11–23. Recheck final inactives before lineup lock.

Close-call research combines only saved models available for both players. It is experimental and does not change the underlying FF forecasts. Gaps shown in rounded cards can differ slightly from a calculation using unrounded numbers. Nacua’s questionable status and conflicting forecasts are explicitly flagged; his numerical gap is not presented as a reliable healthy-player comparison.
